Sun King Condo - A Small Complex of 8

Sun King Condo is a small complex with only 8 condos. Three of these face directly on the Gulf of Mexico. #5 is the one we have for rent and it is one of these. On the left are two condos with an attached carport. #4 is the one you see and #5 is to the left of it.

The Gazebo - A Great Place to Catch a Sunset!

The gazebo is right at the edge of the sand. Owners and guest occasionally gather there for drinks or to watch a sunset or have lunch.

The Old and The New!

New large luxury condos dwarf the vintage Sun King Condo complex, but they make a pretty neighbor.

This is your view standing in the doorway. Sunsets await you!

this condo has one bedroom and one bath. The bedroom has a queen sized bed.

Anyone for chess?

This window looks out over the beach and the pool which belongs to the condo next door.

Location! Location!

There aren't many ground floor direct gulffront condos any more. Most of the older ones have been torn down and replaced by high rises now. Here you can step outside in your robe with your coffee cup and enjoy the beach scene. No elevators, no stairs, few people.

Warm and cozy!

The walls are varnished pine. Call it "early fish-camp" style - I call it warm and cozy. The living room sofa is a sleeper. There is a TV, VCR and cable.

The Kitchen in #5

These pictures were taken while guests are there, so there dishes in use. While small, it is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, and appliances.

Your Basic Bath

The bath has a full tub on the opposite wall. There is also a stacked washer and dryer in the condo.

Breakfast Bar

This is the opposite end of the kitchen. There are two bar stools at the counter.

Covered Carport

The covered carport on the left is for #5. The day of these pictures, the storage room behind the garage was being cleaned out. Normally there would not be articles in sight.

The Front Porch

Just outside the front door is a covered porch. The white boxes above the windows and door are storm shutters. The chaises in the sand are for your use.

Come on down! The weather's usually fine!
